Let me know what you got for Christmas and what your plans are for New Years.

Sephora and Benefit Sets!

I know that this isn't news to some of you since it blew up the beauty world this week, but I am SUPER excited about the Sephora and Benefit beauty sets that are coming soon to Sephora!! These run from $28 to $30 at Sephora and will be available soon, and if you want to stay up to date sign up to be emailed when the set becomes available at Sephora.com. I am in LOVE with all of the sets and think they all have their own individual things that make me want them so badly. I can already tell you that I am going to be saving my paychecks for these beauties! I really am interested in the "How to look the best at everything" and the "Go Tropi-coral" sets the most because I really feel they will compliment my skin tone best, but I am still loving the others as well!

Something I love about this set below is that you can get it in Light, Medium, and Dark so it will fit all skin tones. This is really amazing because I noticed at Sephora before some Benefit sets that were sample sets only were in a darker shade and I couldn't use them.

Something I really am excited about with the Feelin' Dandy set is the lovely light pinks! I think this set would be great in the fall and spring because it is so light and pretty. This set really has a feminine feel to it, which really draws me in.

I am in love with this set! I think it would be absolutely perfect for the summer months and even throughout the year when I travel to see my family in Florida! I think this coral would look great on my skin tone and anyone. I would really like to get this set so that I can try it on others and see how it looks on them as well.

This set is the one I am a little bit scared about because it isn't something I am used to seeing. However, I do think it would be something that would fit in my collection for use on others when they need it. The colors in it are amazing and I think the Sugar concept is really seen throughout the packaging and colors of the makeup.

Which set is your favorite?

Stylespiration: Lauren Conrad

I have to say one of my biggest style inspirations is Lauren Conrad. I have loved her style since I was in high school watching Laguna Beach and The Hills. I think that she is absolutely beautiful and has a edgy and elegant style that I adore. Some of the outfits below are my favorite I have seen her wear and some of my inspirations.

Aveeno Clear Complexion Cream Cleanser Review

Sorry for the extremely long title, but I wanted to make sure the full name of this product was in it because of how amazing it is I didn't want to get it wrong. Okay, so as some of you might already know this was in my June Favorites video for skincare and since I am almost out and am going to repurchase this I thought I would do a full review. First off I want to say that this product is my dream product! I have a tendency to forget to wash my face twice a day, I know shame on me, but even if I just use this cleanser once a day it acts like I have washed my face twice. It is around $7.00 at Walmart and is worth every penny and more! As I have posted a while back I tried the Clinique brand of skincare items and while I did like them, I still use the bar when I shower, they didn't really do what I wanted and made my face feel kind of tight and almost plasticy.

I know that some people really love Clinique, and I still do, but it is just to expensive to not be doing the things I want. For those that don't already know I have a very oily acne prone skin type that really is hard to handle sometimes. Nothing that has caused me to need to see a dermatologist, but still makes me self conscious sometimes. So when I pay a bit of money for skincare I really want it to help with my acne and oil and Clinique wasn't really helping with it like I would want and was really just doing the same thing my drugstore brand was. So, because of this is why I tried the Aveeno Clear Complexion Cream Cleanser.

It is a really nice gentle exfoliate and really helps my skin to not be so oily throughout the day. Another thing I really like about it is that it isn't really super scented because that can agitate my skin sometimes. I leaves my skin feeling soft and clean without feeling to dry like some exfoliating products can do. Also, for the price I really get a lot out of the product and don't have to go buy it that often. Which is another thing that is amazing about this product, the fact that I am repurchasing! I have honestly only repurchased a couple a skincare products in my life and they were never back to back, I usually went a few years trying new things and then went back to a product. I am so excited to try more Aveeno products because I really feel that these help with my skin issues and are products I will love just as much as this one.

I would really recommend any Aveeno skincare products to people looking for something to help with their skin issues. And I give it 5 out of 5 stars on my rating scale!

Dislcaimer: All opinions on this product are my own and where purchased with my own money.

Have you tried Aveeno? What did you think? What is your favorite skincare brand?

Organix Coconut Milk Conditioner Review

So, I have been using the Organix Coconut Milk Conditioner for about two weeks now and I have to say overall I am really impressed. I have super oily roots and super dry ends, which is SUPER fun haha, and it is hard to find something that really combats this. I have heard good things about Organix in the past and thought since I have also heard coconut oil and egg whites are good for your hair this would be a good choice. When I went to the store to purchase the conditioner the first thing I noticed that I loved was the smell, and do I mean love it. It has an amazing coconut tropical scent which is perfect since it is summer and it makes me feel like I am in a jungle paradise when I shower. Now, after I first tried it I hated it because it made my hair super waxy feeling when it was wet, like when you put egg whites in your hair, and it took forever to brush my hair out later. However, after sticking to it for the past two weeks my hair has stopped feeling that way and now turns really soft and feels more hydrated then it has in a long time.

I think that the amount you get for your money is pretty decent as well, although I always wish there was a bit more. I think that this has worked better for me then the last high end conditioner I bought, but the last one I tried was the first I tried so I don't judge high end that much. I am going to continue using the Organix conditioner and make sure my hair doesn't adjust to it. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone who has dry long hair or anyone in general to at least try but remember that it will be waxy at first.

Have you tried Organix before? Let me know what you thought!

Rainy Day Love

Rainy Day Comfort

It has been rainy a lot here, finally we have needed it, and this is really something that I wear during a rainy day inside. I love being comfortable and relaxed on rainy days with a cup of coffee and a book. Also I really like listening to music playlists on 8tracks that are designed by people for rainy days. One of my motto's is "who says a rainy day has to be a bad day" and I live to that and make the most of it. ^_^

July Fourth!

I had an amazing fourth yesterday I got a job and spent the rest of the day hanging out with my family around our local park. After it started getting dark though we headed to a high hill near our house and watched the fireworks from up there to get a better view. It was beautiful and I all around had an amazing time! I hope all of you had an amazing day as well! But I am going to leave this post short because I am still exhausted from yesterday!

Interviews! Tips and Tricks!

Sorry I haven't posted as much as I have wanted to the past few days, but it has been a crazy weekend and Monday! I had a job interview yesterday and was out almost all day! However, I thought I could turn this into a blog as well and give some of my tips and tricks to interviews.

Since I have been home from graduating I have applying to over 14 jobs. Now, I have only been asked for an interview by 2 of them, but I don't get discouraged. It just means someone that was better for their company got it and that it wasn't meant to be. I like to not stress out about things like this because in the end I know I will find a job. So that is probably my first piece of advice is to not get discouraged if you don't find a job right away and get turned down.

Next tip is when applying to a job no matter where it is fancy or not please DRESS UP. Wear something that is professional even if the place is McDonalds. I know this sounds stupid, but if you are applying to a job at the same time as others it gives you an advantage because you took the time to look professional. This is super important because it is your first impression with a potential employer and sometimes it could be your last.

Another tip is that during your interview try to sit as straight as possible and not slouch because it shows you are paying attention rather then being to relaxed. Also, keep eye contact with them throughout the interview and they will see how confident you are and shows you are attentive to what they are saying.

One of the last tips I have about interviews is to ask questions at the end of the interview. This allows them to know how interested you are in working for their company and could potentially allow you to show more about yourself then before. Some questions could be "What are you looking for in an employee? What is the hardest and most rewarding part about working here:".

I hope that some of these tips help if you are applying for jobs! Let me know what your tips are!

Favorite Summer Nail Polish!!

I have recently been venturing out of my normal color for nails lately from my dark blues and reds into more light and bright summer colors and I have finally found some I really enjoy. Right now I am into Mint colors on nails and found one by Revlon called Minted that is prefect for me! Also, to go with it in the one nail painted differently trend I found a great yellow by Revlon called Sunshine Sparkle which goes amazing with the Mint color.

I am always looking for suggestions on colors. What is you favorite color for summer?

Passion Iced Tea Lemonade!

I am obsessed with this drink! If any of you follow me on twitter you know I got one the other day. I went to Kroger today with my mom for some groceries and found the passion ICED tea bags. I am soo excited and I already have a batch in the fridge getting nice and cold ^_^. I didn't add a whole lot of sugar because I don't like my cold tea being SUPER sweet plus I thought if I wanted it sweeter I could add more later. This drink is so refreshing during the hot summer months and tastes so delicious!

What is your favorite drink?

Little Black Bag

I know that many of you have heard of the company Little Black Bag and how amazing they are, but just in case you haven't I wanted to share the brilliant idea of this company with you! Little Black Bag is something I am dying to try very soon, but because I am still looking for a job that may not happen for a while. But even though I haven't tried it yet I wanted to share my opinion on the concept and a bit of how it works.

So basically the way LBB works is you sign up for the site and take a survey about things that interest you in the fashion and beauty world so they can get to know a bit about you and what items to suggest. Then you look through all of the amazing items from designers like Betsy Johnson and Steve Madden. You select one item you like and then they suggest two other which you will see once you purchase.

Once you had purchased your items then they allow you to trade items you have in your bag with others! This allows you and other customers to get exactly what you want. This is amazing because sometimes programs like this you don't know what you are getting and then you may not like it, but LBB takes care of those issues and allows you to make some more choices! Overall, this program is brilliant and I can NOT wait until I can make my first purchase with LBB!

Have you used LBB? Let me know I would love to hear about your experience!

BIC Soleil Savvy Razor Review

Before I start this review I want to be transparent and say that I am a bzzagent and received samples and coupons for this product. However, all opinions are my own and I was not paid to do this review.

I have to say when I was informed I would be getting a BIC razor to review I was a bit skeptical. I have used a different version before and the results were less then par compared to others I have used. However, I tried this one out just for the heck of it and oh..my..gosh..I am loving it! The quality of this razor is definitely up there with other name brand razors. The BIC Soleil Savvy razor is adorable first off because it is pink and has rubber gripping which is nice because it won't slip out of your hand when shaving. It has three blades which is nice and looks similar to the other name brands. However, something that concerns me about this razor is that even though it comes with three replacement heads you cannot go out and purchase more when you run out. It is still a disposable razor so once the heads run out you can throw it away. Now, I think this is a bit strange and I don't really understand it from my own perspective. Other then that I really like this razor so far and hopefully the heads will last as long as the other name brands. I will let you know how long the sharpness of the blades last in a later post, but for now this is definitely something I would suggest, and have suggested, to friends and family.

Let me know what razor you use and if you have tried this one!

Tuesday Tip! - Coffee Body Scrub

Today's tip is a coffee body scrub that you can do at home with just a few simple ingredients! All you need is:

Coffee Grounds
Olive Oil
Sugar (Whatever kind you feel is going to create the best scrub for you)

After you have all your ingredients add some coffee, about a cup or so, to your container. This is something that is done to taste, metaphorically, so just add as much as you think is best for you.

Next add your sugar, about two big tablespoons, to the same container I used organic raw sugar because I like rougher scrubs.

Next, add as much olive oil as you feel your body would need to be moisturized.

Last, mix is all together and you are finished!! This will keep in the fridge for about a week and then you will need to get rid of it. Also, please don't let a whole lot of coffee go don't your drain or you will cause drainage issues.

Have any of your own scrub recipes? Let me know I love finding new ideas!
